Coronavirus

Update - 1st April 2022

We are fully back at work and have processed all of the backlog caused by our closure last week.

The Office staff member continues to test negative, we will add any update on here if anything changes.

Update - 27th March 2022

A family member of our office staff has tested positive for Covid19 and is isolating in her bedroom. The staff member has so far tested negative but we have decided to close for a few days just in case.

We intend to be open again by Friday 1st April, with extra safe practices in place, assuming the staff member continues to get negative results.

You can still order but your parcel will not be sent until Friday 1st April, we will update this page and our social media if this changes.

The phone line will not be open but emails will be answered as they can be done from home.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Please Stay Safe

Update - February 2022

Everywhere seems to be opening up and getting back to normal.

While we would love to do this, we think it is a bit too soon. Therefore we are keeping in place all the things we have been doing over the last 2 years.

This does mean we will be staying with 2 Royal Mail pickups per week instead of going back to 3. We will also stick with ordering from suppliers once a month instead of twice a month.

We do hope you understand.

Update - Friday 12th February 2021

We have fully cleared all the backlog and are posting out orders within the 3 working days stated in the Terms and Conditions.

We are continuing to restrict the number of delivery drivers and post pickups to minimise the number of people our staff come into contact with. This means we will continue to post out orders on Tuesdays and Fridays for the foreseeable future. It also means we may occasionally go out of stock of items as we are only ordering once a month instead of every week.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Please Stay Safe

Update - Friday 5th February 2021

We have cleared the backlog and should be back to normal next week.

We are still posting out just 2 days a week to minimise the contact with other people.

If you have not had an email about an order placed before Friday please check your spam box before you get in touch.

Please Stay Safe.

Update - Wednesday 27th January 2021

We have had a couple of other challenges to deal with which is why we are still closed. We hope to re-open on Tuesday 2nd February 2021 but with less staff.

There are already a lot of orders waiting, which means customers either didn't see the big red note in the shopping basket or have accepted the delay, hopefully the latter :-)

When we re-open orders already placed will be processed in the date order they were received. New orders placed may have their processing time extended to more than the normal maximum of 3 working days until we catch up or have all staff fully fit.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Please Stay Safe

Update - Friday 15th January 2021

A key member of Office Staff has been asked to isolate by Track and Trace, therefore we have decided to close for a few weeks.

You can still order but your parcel will not be sent for several weeks, we will update our social media when we are ready to start sending again

The phone line will still be open and emails will be answered as they can be done from home.

We are sorry for any inconvenience cause.

Please Stay Safe

March 2020

We are taking this virus very seriously and doing all we can to protect both our staff and our customers.

We are cleaning packing surfaces and other areas plus our staff wash their hands frequently.

Our Royal Mail pickup days have been reduced to 2 per week, please see the website basket page for more info on which days.

Royal Mail have stated they will continue to deliver parcels in the UK.

Deliveries outside the UK are obviously out of their hands, but they do have info online on the following link.

https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5317

We have also taken the decision not to order from our suppliers as often as normal, this will minimise the number of people coming to the warehouse. Therefore the Pixel Hobby Kits have been marked as "out of stock" as we do not keep them in stock - we order from Pixel Hobby directly when the kits are ordered by customers. We are sure you will find plenty to keep you crafting among our in stock items. As stock items get low we will mark the number left online where we can, we hope you understand.

We will continue to post out parcels for as long as we can, however, if more than half of our staff have to self isolate we will have to close. If this happens we will add notes to the main home page and in the shopping basket. We will also post on Facebook, Twitter and in the DKY Customer Forum & Craft Bits Customer Forum.

Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by this virus and wish everyone good luck.

There is no minimum order and postage starts at just £1.50 (UK) for some kits - prices calculated in the Basket. No Minimum Order. UK VAT is included in all prices. Secure Shopping Basket. If you want more kits than we have in stock please contact us before you order.
